Bartlett All-Phase Balancer Formula contains a high concentration of protein, minerals, and vitamins. Mix with grains (corn, oats, barley, beet pulp) to provide a fortified, balanced complete feed. For horses that do not need supplemental energy, All-Phase Balancer Formula can be fed without grain, at a low rate, to supplement hay or pasture. Provide clean water and salt free-choice. Feed is perishable - do not use this feed if it is moldy, smells musty, or has been contaminated by insects or rodents. Store in a cool, dry area to extend freshness.
Example blends and feed rates per 100 lb body weight per day:
|Type of horse||Grain % of mix||All-Phase % of mix||Feed rate of mixture|
|Pleasure||85||15||0.5 to 1.0 lb|
|Performance||72||28||0.8 to 1.4 lb|
|Mares||72||28||0.5 to 1.4 lb|
|Foals||60||40||1 lb/month of age|
If All-Phase Balancer Formula is not mixed with grain, and is fed alone as a concentrated supplement to hay or pasture, be sure to feed in measured amounts at a rate of 0.15 to 0.35 lb per 100 lb body weight per day.
Do not overfeed this supplement; follow all directions.
Directions for feeding to foals in combination with Bartlett Phase Two:
Blend four parts Phase Two with one part All-Phase Balancer Formula to make a 16% protein complete feed for foals. Feed this blend at the rate of 1 lb per month of age daily.
