Bartlett Milling Beef Cattle Supplements

Pasture and hay are the foundations of cattle rations. Good pasture management and maximum use of home-grown forages are essential for profitability. Bartlett Milling has many different types of supplements to "balance" and compliment forage-based brood cow and stocker rations on your farm.

Minerals and Tubs – Bartlett distributes multiple lines of cattle minerals to meet many different needs. We have a line of private-label Bartlett minerals, and we also distribute Ultralyx® and Sweetlix® minerals.  For cattle requiring supplemental energy and protein, along with minerals and vitamins, Bartlett distributes the Ultralyx Ultra-Pro® 200 lb compressed cattle supplement, a self-fed product that provides the convenience of free-choice feeding. Bartlett distributes two brands of "cooked" cattle supplements. These supplements are called "cooked" because of the heat used during manufacturing, producing a very low moisture, physically hard product. Intake of cooked tubs typically does not exceed one pound per head per day, thereby providing a convenient, economical self-fed product for cattle on pasture. Most products are available in either 125 lb or 250 lb tubs.

Feed in a Drum® brand cooked supplements provide nutrients missing from pasture or hay. In addition, energy and protein provided by these supplements increases the digestibility of your home-grown forages, resulting in more energy available to the animal. Low intakes, combined with the convenience of a self-fed, free-choice supplement, appeal to virtually all cattle producers. To review Feed in a Drum cattle products, click here

CRYSTALYX® brand is the original low moisture, cooked supplement, long recognized for its value to cattle producers. Proprietary processing and removal of virtually all moisture from the product results in consistent, low intakes. Supplemental nutrients provided by Crystalyx improve performance of cattle, while increasing digestibility of forages. The wide array of Crystalyx products can address virtually any supplement need. To review CRYSTALYX products, click here.

Bartlett Milling manufactures several pelleted cattle feeds for daily hand-feeding. Bartlett cattle pellets contain no animal fat or animal protein ingredients. Unlike commodity blends, or "straight" single commodity ingredients, Bartlett cattle feeds are formulated to provide multiple sources of energy and protein, plus supplemental minerals and vitamins.
