 PHASE ONE: a KER-designed sweet feed for Growth and Development. Feed to actively growing young horses, up to twelve months of age, and to lactating mares, first three months of lactation.  High quality protein provides essential amino acids to optimize growth and development. Density: 1.1 lb per quart.

 PHASE TWO: a KER-designed sweet feed for Broodmares and Yearlings. For growth, training activities, and breeding. Phase Two is also suitable for pregnant and lactating broodmares, two-year-olds in light training, and performance horses not under extreme exercise stress.  Phase Two may be used as the sole supplement for the preparation of halter horses and sale horses. Density: 1.2 lb per quart.

 PHASE THREE: a KER-designed pelleted feed for High Performance. Phase Three has high caloric density (8% min. fat guaranteed) to help meet the energy requirements of horses under exercise stress. High quality protein is at the correct level for performance horses.

 PHASE FOUR: a KER-designed pelleted feed for Show and Pleasure. Feed to active horses, lactating mares, or breeding stallions. Also appropriate for growing, weaning, yearling and training horses. Phase Four has elevated protein and energy for horses that require substantial supplemental nutrition. Density: 1.3 lb per quart.

 PHASE FIVE: a molasses-coated, "sweet pellet" for senior and geriatric horses. Designed by KER to meet the unique nutrient requirements of mature and older horses; Phase Five will maintain desired body condition, while promoting good health and longevity. Highly digestible, easily chewed fiber sources promote good consumption, while supporting good gastrointestinal health. Density: 1.15 lb per quart.

TRAIL MATE: a KER-designed Premium Sweet Feed for Pleasure Horses doing light or medium work. Palatability of Trail Mate is unsurpassed. Pure cane molasses, oats, cracked corn and a special premix pellet, make for an ideal energy feed for active horses. Density: 1.2 lb per quart.

 STEADY-ENERGY: a  KER-designed, lower starch, pelleted feed for active horses. Steady-Energy is for horses that cannot tolerate high-starch feeds and can also benefit young horses susceptible to developmental orthopedic disease (DOD). Steady Energy contains additional vegetable oil and  multiple sources of highly digestible fiber, providing a steady supply of energy to help reduce spikes in blood glucose and insulin. In addition, natural vitamin E and organic selenium are added to enhance cellular antioxidant functions. Density: 1.30 lb per quart; starch 12.5%.

 ALL-PHASE: a 25% Protein, KER-designed, Grain Balancer Pellet for all ages and classes of horses. It can be fed alone as a concentrated, low-feed-rate source of protein, mineral and vitamins when good pasture or hay is plentiful. All-Phase can also be mixed with grains, such as oats, beet pulp, or cracked corn, to make a balanced, complete grain mix.

BARTLETT MILLING – “SWEET” HORSE FEEDS:


 HI-E 11:8 SWEET HORSE: for Working Horses. This high-energy feed contains 8% fat (pure vegetable oil) for performance horses in training and horses that do heavy work. Corn, oats, barley and a unique pellet are blended with cane molasses for uniformity and excellent palatability. High quality protein and extra fat provides balanced nutrition for working horses.

 12% GRAIN BLEND (No Corn): for Pleasure Horses. Contains a high level of oats and barley for the horse owner who does not want to feed corn. High oats provides extra fiber, while still maintaining high energy to sustain active horses. “No corn” formula helps reduce starch. Contains high quality protein, minerals and vitamins for balanced nutrition. Cane molasses sticks it all together for uniformity and maximum palatability.

 12% HORSE FEED: for Pleasure Horses. A mixture of cracked corn, oats, barley, and a pellet, formulated for pleasure horses doing light to medium work. Cane molasses is added to maintain uniformity.

PASTURE HORSE 10 or 12: for Pleasure Horses (light and medium work) and Mature, Idle Horses. This popular feed combines economy with quality to provide horse owners a very palatable and nutritionally balanced sweet feed. Corn, oats, barley and a unique pellet are blended with cane molasses to make a highly palatable blend. Available in either 10 or 12% protein.. Density: 1.15 lb per quart.

BARTLETT MILLING - PELLETED HORSE FEEDS:


 Hi-E 11:10 Pellet: for Working Horses. Highest caloric density of all our horse pellets, Bartlett Hi-E 11:10 contains pure soy oil inside the pellet to help meet energy needs of hard-working horses. High quality ingredients, along with complete mineral and vitamin fortification, ensure balanced nutrition. Feed along with adequate hay or pasture.

 HORSE PELLET 130: for Pleasure Horses. This feed combines economy with balanced nutrition and excellent palatability. Feed along with average quality pasture or hay. Horse Pellet 130 is suitable for light and medium work.

 HORSE PELLET 110: for Pleasure Horses. This feed contains a lower level of protein, compared with Horse Pellet 130. Feed Horse Pellet 110 when pastures are actively growing, or when good hay meets the base protein requirements of pleasure horses.

 HORSE MAINTENANCE PELLET: for Maintenance of Mature, Idle Horses.  Provides complete and economical nutrition to horses that do not need high levels of supplementation. The amount of Horse Maintenance Pellet required will vary depending on season, quality of forages, weight and condition of your horses. Density: 1.25 lb per quart.

 COMPLETE HORSE PELLETS with ROUGHAGE: for Pleasure Horses (light work) and Mature, Idle Horses. A complete feed, containing extra fiber and forage products to provide supplemental roughage when pasture or hay is limited or  low quality. Feed no less than 5 to 6 lb hay (or equivalent dry matter from pasture) per horse per day, along with controlled amounts of Complete Horse Pellets with Roughage (follow tag directions; do not over feed).
